New Release: Finn's Scarf

Introducing my new friend, Finn.
This little guy will be turning up from time to time in various situations and for a range of different occasions.  Naturally, he is most comfortable with cold weather, but even penguins have been known to go on vacation!

November New Releases

November is all about Christmas at my place.  Although I haven't quite dragged out the decorations yet nor bought any gifts or even planned the menu... it's definitely in the air.  Actually, I've just reminded myself of all the things I still have to get done.  Oh well, at least my Christmas cards are well underway!

80th Birthday Card

My sister-in-law asked me to create a card for her grandmother's 80th birthday party and this is what I came up with.  Lots of pretty flowers, plenty of pink paper and a couple of lengths of pearls.

New Release: Spirit of Christmas Set

It's no secret that poinsettias are my favourite Christmas flowers, and I know I'm not alone in loving them for seasonal projects.  Their large petals and leaves make them easy and fun to colour, plus they look great in just about any colour you choose... traditional reds and greens or more modern pinks, blues and purples.

Check out all the fantastic cards made by my designers using a range of different colouring mediums and styles.

Mini Album - "Our Story"

I have another mini album to share with you today, not quite as involved as last month's make, but still lots of fun and achievable in a weekend.  This little album measures 6" x 6" and contains ten pages plus the front and back cover.  I used the same technique to create the cover and spine as last month, but only added half the pages and a lot less embellishing.
I started out by selecting all the papers and embellishments I thought I might use on my album.  I find it easiest to do this first so I'm not scrabbling around later looking for things that match the colour or theme of my project.

New Release: Blessings of the Season

I've had a blast designing my Christmas range this year - everything from elegant vases of holly to Aussie floral wreaths... with the odd penguin or two thrown in for good measure!  I have several sets to release over the next few months, starting with this holly set titled "Blessings of the Season".

New Release: The Great Jack Set

I love to draw and colour pumpkins, so designing images for Halloween and Thanksgiving is something I look forward to every year.  I was feeling a little nostalgic for the simpler days of childhood as I drew these images, hence the scribbly shadow lines and vintage typewriter font.
My fabulous designers have created some spectacular cards to share with you using this new set.  From rich, rustic colours with deep shadows and glowing oranges, to heavily distressed, vintage-style cards that capture the mood of the season, I'm certain you'll find something inspiring amongst these beautiful creations.
